A bantamweight bout between Sam Halliday and “Smooth” Sam Spencer has been added to FCC 18, which takes place on April 15.

The fight was announced over social media.

Halliday (5-4) is coming off a submission win over John Spencer. The 24-year-old fought five times in 2016, including three bouts in the year before that. A consistently inconsistent fighter, Halliday will be looking to pick up his second straight win at FCC 18 against Sam Spencer.

Spencer (4-1) will have been out of the cage for four months when fight night arrives, but will be itching to get back in as he’s coming off his first professional loss. “Smooth” went 2-0 in his first two professional outings before making his FCC debut. In his debut, he had to dig deep, and deal with adversity, but overcame a broken jaw suffered in the first round to take a unanimous decision win over Bryan Creighton. Spencer then stopped Ionut Raducanu, a short replacement, at FCC 17. In his most recent outing, the Manchester Predators product was submitted by James McErlean after a promising start at Tanko FC 2.

Full Contact Contender 18 takes place live from the Macron Stadium in Bolton, England on Saturday, April 15.
