Long time UK MMA veteran Rob Sinclair is returning to the sport following a brief retirement, as he faces Paul Redmond at BAMMA 30.

SevereMMA.com revealed the news.

Sinclair (13-4) has fought on shows such as BAMMA, Bellator, and FCC. The Manchester Predators fighter fought twice in 2015, amassing a record of 1-1, before being out of the sport for more than 12 months. When he returned, the 37-year-old faced Charlie Leary in the main event of FCC 17, and after a close decision loss, announced his retirement from the sport.

Redmond (11-6) displayed his skills under the Cage Warriors banner prior to signing with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but as a UFC fighter amassed a record of 0-2. Following his release, Redmond faced Chris Stringer in the co-main event of BAMMA 26, and won the bout via decision. In his most recent outing, “Redser” dropped a narrow majority decision to Norman Parke.

BAMMA 30 takes place live from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on July 7.
