Contenders East Anglia have announced some a handful of names for the upcoming Contenders 17 card on December 10.

Jason Radcliffe (10-2) is set to return to the promotion following his first round submission victory at Contenders 16 in September. ‘The Assassin’ got it done in the first round, choking out Pasquale Coluccio in 2:46. Radcliffe is now riding a five-fight win streak, including a highlight reel 14-second KO of Jack Mason at Bellator 158.

Also fighting (and winning) on the last Contenders card was Dutch strawweight Mellony Geugjes (1-3), who picked up her first MMA victory with a split decision over Judith Levi. Geugjes will be looking to make it two in a row in December, as the kickboxing world champion transitions into mixed martial arts.

After a prolonged absence from the scene due to injury, Corrin Eaton (8-2) wasted no time once he finally got back in the cage at Rise of Champions 3, putting away Carl Morley in under a minute.. It’s a quick turnaround for Eaton, making only his second appearance of 2016 when he competes at Contenders 17.

Something of a regular on the Contenders shows, Andre Concalves (2-0-1) will make his fourth appearance for the promotion as he takes on Norwegian Kim Thinghaugen (4-3). Thinghaugen pulled off the rare twister submission back at Warrior Fight Series 5 in February, tapping Huseyin Garabet in the opening frame.

Opponents for Radcliffe, Eaton and Geugjes have yet to be announced, keep it locked to The Sprawl for further information.

Contenders 17 takes place on December 10 at Norfolk Showground Arena, Norwich. Tickets are available HERE, and the PPV can be purchased HERE on MMA TV.
