A lightweight bout between Lawrence Fitzpatrick and Anthony Dizy is set to headline Tanko FC 4 in May.
The promotion announced the news on Facebook.
Fitzpatrick (5-0 MMA, 1-0 TFC) is coming off by far the biggest win of his career, where he dispatched of Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett in just over four and a half minutes. The Liverpudlian choked Bennett unconscious in the first round of their main event bout at Tanko FC 3. Prior to that, ‘Loz’ had won four straight, finishing all of his opponents.
Dizy (9-2 MMA, 0-0 TFC) is also coming off what could be his biggest win to date, as last time out he halted the Martin Stapleton title run. Dizy was seen as a stepping stone for ‘Stapes’ to go on and fight for the title, bt after a dominant three round performance, the Frenchman won a decision. Dizy has fought for Bellator in the past.
