SBG Ireland’s John Byrne, who is touted as one of the brightest prospect on the UK scene at the moment, is set to face Blackburn Predators’ Joe Nazokatov at UK Fighting Championships 4. The bout is set to take place in the lightweight division.
The promotion announced the bout on their social media platforms.
Nazokatov (5-2) fights out of Blackburn Predators, which is home to names such as John James Young and Chris Price, who recently won at Cage Warriors 82. At 22 years of age, the future is bright for Nazokatov.
Byrne (8-3) has been making waves on the UK scene for quite a while now. The Irishman, who trains out of SBG Ireland, has fought, and beaten some of the best names in the UK, on some of the best shows in the UK. At 26, he will likely be looking to add to an impressive amateur record before eventually turning professional.
