A middleweight fight between Fabian Edwards and Mitchell Richards, which was scheduled to take place at BAMMA 29, has been removed from the card.

Edwards announced the news on Snapchat, claiming that Richards failed his pre-fight medical.

Edwards (0-0) was set to make his professional debut. “The Assassin” is the younger brother of UFC welterweight Leon Edwards, and holds an amateur record of 10-0.

Richards (1-0) has been scheduled to fight five times, both amateur and professional, but four of those bouts have fallen through. His lone fight was a decision win over Shaun Hampton at FCC 17.

BAMMA 29 takes place tomorrow, Friday, May 12, from the Genting Arena in Birmingham, England.
