Former UFC fighter and UK MMA veteran Danny Mitchell has announced that his next outing in the cage will be his last. Mitchell is a veteran of 29-fights.

The 30-year-old announced the news over Facebook.

Mitchell (19-9-1) had already competed, and won across the world in various different countries prior to getting the UFC call up, and when that call did come, he instantly became a fan favorite. Before even getting into the cage, “The Cheesecake Assassin” had gained thousands of fans simply because of his nickname. After an unsuccessful UFC streak, where he went 0-2, the middleweight fighter returned to the regional scenes, and since then has fought on CSFC, ICE FC, Bellator, ACB, and Celtic Gladiator. In his most recent outing, the AVT coach and fighter was stopped by Andy DeVent in under one minute.

No date, event, or opponent has been announced for Mitchell’s ‘Last Dance’ yet.
