Remember Adam Cella? No? Remember the guy that Uriah Hall kicked into oblivion during The Ultimate Fighter Season 17? That’s the guy!

Since the loss, Cella has pretty much vanished. Fans, media, nobody really talks about him anymore, but believe it or not, he is still alive and still competes.

Following the loss to Uriah Hall, Cella fought once more in the UFC, but was submitted by Tor Troeng at UFC on FUEL TV 9.

Cella then moved on to Shamrock Fighting Championships, and in his debut defeated Justin DeMoney. The glory was short lived, however, as Cella was stopped by Luke Gwaltney in the following bout. Cella fought again on Shamrock Fighting Championships, picking up a submission win against Anthony Lemon before making his WSOF debut.

“El Natural” debuted at WSOF 17, but lost a decision to Danny Davis Jr, and hasn’t fought at WSOF since. Following the loss, Cella signed to fight at Bellator 138, but was submitted in the second round by Kyle Kurtz. Following the loss, Cella was given another chance at Bellator, but once again, lost. Cella was stopped by Chel Erwin-Davis in the third round of their fight at Bellator 145, and hasn’t stepped foot in a Bellator cage since. Well, I suppose it was only last year, but, I can’t see him getting a third shot with the promotion without doing something drastic.

In his next bout, Cella did do something drastic, he lost the fight. Cella once again fought Kyle Kurtz, this time at Shamrock FC: Explosion, but once again, lost the bout via submission.

Since the vicious loss at the hands of Uriah Hall, Cella has been fairly active, well definitely more active than most people thought he had, but he just hasn’t come up with the results. You really have to wonder how much that kick took out of him; he was a promising, up and coming fighter with a 4-0 record going into the house, but since the loss to Uriah Hall, just hasn’t been able to string it together. Cella has gone from 4-0 to 6-6 and to make matters even worse, probably watches a clip of him getting smashed in the face at least once a day, because, you know, MMA fans.
