The proposed flyweight title fight between Dominic Wooding and Samir Faiddine set for Warrior Fight Series 6 on Saturday, May 21 at York Hall, Bethnal Green is off.
Contender Dominic Wooding posted on Twitter today that the “Fights OFF. May 21st is OFF.”
According to Wooding, four potential opponents have all declined the fight, leaving the promotion with no choice but to pull the title fight from the card. However, having reached out to promoter, Harry Shoebridge, the organisation are still looking for potential replacements.
Dominic Wooding’s current fight may be off, but my fight continues to find a suitable replacement. Unlike many fighters, Wooding isn’t looking for an easy win, so we’ve been aiming high since day one. Unfortunately, many of the top guys don’t want him. We will have more news on this in the coming week.
