Jake “Brutal” Bostwick is set to return to the cage at ACB 47 in Glasgow, Scotland. The Englishman hasn’t competed in MMA since December of 2015 where he extended his win streak to 10.

Bostwick (17-8) takes on Danny Mitchell, and expects to take on the best version of Mitchell there is. “I expect Danny to bring his A game, as he knows I will,” said Bostwick, “we are both hungry and we both have experience, this will make for a fantastic match-up.”

The 26-year-old spent this training camp at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida, and claims it’s his best one yet. “This camp at ATT has been my best camp yet, I’m more than ready in every single way.” Bostwick knows how important it is to impress viewers and promises to do exactly that, saying “I’m ready to put on a great show for all the fans in Scotland.”

Bostwick, who is a favourite among UK MMA fans, isn’t concerned about rust after not fighting for 10 months, “There will be no ring rust for me whatsoever, I am excited to show my skill and power and extend my winning streak to 11.” The time off has been a well deserved rest for Bostwick though, as he fought twice in 2015, both times in the main event, and even won the Phoenix Fight Night middleweight title in his last outing.

Bostwick and Mitchell are going to step into a cage and try to put an end to each others dreams, but their is complete respect. Jake Bostwick does not want easy fights, saying “Just bring your A game”, but he does want to have fun, “Let’s have some fun in there!”
