So Chris Scadden & myself were one of the very luck few that were invited to Cage Warriors Unplugged, Chris by selling a place at his daughter’s wedding (when ever that may be) to Graham Boylan, myself via a friend who let me be his plus one due to a competition win.

We arrived at the BT Sport studios nice and early so we could take in the non televised prelims which were screened back stage in the holding area along side Pall Mall Barbers who as a sponsor of the event were doing free men’s haircut and beard trims (yes I took advantage).

If you have ever watched beyond the octagon, there are a few of us that did or seen any of the BT studio sports shows then you will be familiar with the studio that the octagon was set up in, now to be honest as this was not a paying crowd and the fighters didn’t have their usually level of support I’m not sure how the atmosphere came across on TV but it only seemed like the levels reached tipping point when both Next Gen fighters with the major level of crowd support came alive, now if you have ever seen a Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblet walkout it really is something else the crowd sing and dance along to his walkout song Where’s your head at, for him the energy he expends on his walkout alone is crazy but it did really bring the crowd alive.

All in all in was a great night with some great fights and I was very lucky to be one of the few in attendance and at least we didn’t get covered in puke!
