World Series of Fighting Bantamweight Champion Marlon Moraes is currently a free agent, and is in talks with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Moraes’ manager Ali Abdelaziz revealed the news to MMAJunkie.

Moraes (18-4-1) made his professional MMA debut in 2007, and his WSOF debut in 2012. Since his debut at WSOF 1, he hasn’t fought elsewhere, going 11-0 with the promotion. Following his first four wins under the promotion, Moraes was given a title shot, and won the belt against Josh Rettinghouse at WSOF 9. His next bout was changed to a non-title fight after Cody Bollinger missed weight, but Moraes won the fight via submission in the second round. The Brazilian then took a decision over Josh Hill before putting together four stoppage victories. The first came against Sheymon Moraes at WSOF 22, where he picked up a rear naked choke win in the third round. Moraes, who is a BJJ brown belt, then stopped Joseph Barajas with leg kicks at WSOF 28 before stopping Josh Hill in a rematch at WSOF 32. In his most recent outing, Moraes took a victory over Josenaldo Silva after a knee injury in the first round of their bout at WSOF 34.
