A welterweight contest between Vicente Luque and Britain’s Leon Edwards is set to take place at UFC London in March.

The news was announced by MMAFighting.com.

Luque (11-5-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter Season 21, but was eliminated by Hayder Hassan. The Brazilian was given an opportunity in the UFC regardless, and after a loss in his debut, has been on a tear. “The Silent Assassin” rebounded from a loss to Michael Graves by tapping Hayder Hassan in a rematch. He then picked up another submission victory, this time against Alvaro Herrera at UFC Fight Night 90. Luque made it three in a row in the UFC with a knockout victory over Hector Urbina at UFC Brasilia. In his most recent outing, Luque stopped Belal Muhammad in the first round of their contest at UFC 205.

Edwards (12-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC) is surging at the moment, and is riding a two fight win streak. The Brit’s UFC career started after going 5-0 on BAMMA, but in his debut he lost a split decision to Claudio Silva at UFC Uberlandia. Rebounding from the loss, Edwards stopped Seth Baczynski in just eight seconds at UFC Krakow. He made it two in a row with a decision victory over Pawel Pawlak in Glasgow in July of 2015. Edwards then faced Kamaru Usman, but lost the bout via decision. Rebounding from the loss, the 25-year-old took a decision over Dominic Waters before picking up his biggest victory to date, submitting Albert Tumenov in the second round of their bout at UFC 204.

UFC Fight Night 107 takes place live from the 02 Arena in London, England on March 18, 2017.
