A featherweight bout between Brian Ortega and Renato Moicano has been added to UFC 214, which takes place in Anaheim.

UFC officials announced the bout earlier today.

Ortega (11-0, 1NC) submitted Mike De La Torre in his UFC debut, but the bout was later overturned to a No Contest due to a failed drug test for marijuana. “T-City” has picked up three wins since then, all in the third round. First was a TKO over Brad Tavares, then a submission over Diego Brandao, and most recently he knocked out Clay Guida with a knee at UFC 199.

Moicano (11-0-1) won his first five professional MMA bouts, before fighting to a draw against Felipe Froes at Shooto Brazil 36. Three wins later, and he got the UFC call up. In his debut, the Brazilian submitted Tom Niinimaki in the second round, before winning his next two, both by split decision, taking victories over Zubaira Tukhugov and Jeremy Stephens respectively.

UFC 214 takes place live from the Honda Centre in Anaheim, California, on Juky 29, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a Light Heavyweight Championship fight between current champion Daniel Cormier and former kingpin Jon Jones.
