A lightweight scrap between former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and #3 ranked Tony Ferguson has been added to The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale.

The news was first reported by Champions.co and was confirmed by the UFC.

dos Anjos (25-8 MMA, 14-6 UFC) fought Gleison Tibau at UFC 139, and after a split decision loss, turned his career around. The Brazilian put together five wins over names such as Evan Dunham and Donald Cerrone. Dos Anjos then faced Khabib Nurmagomedov, but lost the fight via Unanimous Decision. Following the loss, the BJJ black belt stopped Jason High and Benson Henderson before taking a dominant decision over Nate Diaz, which earned him a shot at then lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. RDA took all five rounds against Pettis, capturing the gold at UFC 185. In his first defense of the title, dos Anjos stopped Donald Cerrone in just 66 seconds. In his most recent outing, dos Anjos was stopped by Eddie Alvarez in the first round, losing his lightweight title.

Ferguson (21-3 MMA, 11-1 UFC) won The Ultimate Fighter 13 with a knockout victory over Ramsey Nijem before stopping Aaron Riley and outpointing Yves Edwards. Ferguson then faced Michael Johnson, but lost a decision. Following the loss, “El Cucuy” stopped Mike Rio and Katsunori Kikuno before taking home a split decision against Danny Castillo. Ferguson then submitted Abel Trujillo at UFC 181 before tapping Gleison Tibau at UFC 184. The Californian next faced Josh Thompson, and won the bout by decision. Ferguson has won his last two bouts with D’arce chokes. He tapped Edson Barboza in the choke after a back and forth war at the TUF 22 Finale and most recently, forced short notice opponent Lando Vannata to tap after another exciting battle at UFC Sioux Falls.

The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale is set to take place live from the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico on Nov. 5. No main event has been announced for the card as of yet.
