A heavyweight bout between Todd Duffee and Mark Godbeer is official for UFC 209, which takes place on March 4.

Jim Edwards of FloCombat revealed the news earlier.

Duffee (9-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) is currently in his second stint with the UFC, and has gone 2-1 in that stint. The American is coming off a brutal knockout loss to Frank Mir, though. After a seven second knockout victory in his UFC debut, Duffee was stopped by Mike Russow in the third round of a bout he was winning at UFC 114. After stopping Neil Grove in 2012, Duffee was given a second chance with the UFC, and defeated Phil De Fries before stopping Anthony Hamilton in under one minute at UFC 181. In his most recent outing, Duffee was stopped by Frank Mir via first round knockout.

Godbeer (11-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) made his name on the UK scene, winning the BAMMA heavyweight title after going 2-0 with the promotion. At BAMMA 21, “The hand of” faced Paul Taylor for the vacant title, and after a dominant first round, Godbeer continued to dominate before Taylor told the referee he couldn’t continue due to a broken nose. Godbeer next faced Stuart Austin, who was the Lonsdale Heavyweight Champion, and won the bout via second round knockout. After changing managers and being signed by the promotion, Godbeer was assigned a fight against Justin Ledet in his UFC debut at UFC Belfast. Godbeer didn’t perform like he can do, and was stopped via submission in the first round.

UFC 209 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 4, 2017.
