UFC Heavyweight Todd Duffee has pulled out of his scheduled UFC 209 bout, where he was meant to fight Englishman Mark Godbeer.

Godbeer announced the news on social media.

Godbeer (11-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) made his name on the UK scene, winning the BAMMA heavyweight title after going 2-0 with the promotion. At BAMMA 21, “The hand of” faced Paul Taylor for the vacant title, and after a dominant first round, Godbeer continued to dominate before Taylor told the referee he couldn’t continue due to a broken nose. Godbeer next faced Stuart Austin, who was the Lonsdale Heavyweight Champion, and won the bout via second round knockout. After changing managers and being signed by the promotion, Godbeer was assigned a fight against Justin Ledet in his UFC debut at UFC Belfast. Godbeer didn’t perform like he can do, and was stopped via submission in the first round.

UFC 209 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 4, 2017. The card is expected to be headlined by a welterweight title fight between current champion Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson.
