A welterweight fight between Thiago Alves and Al Iaquinta may be on the cards for UFC 210 in Buffalo, New York.

The two were scheduled to fight at UFC 205, but after breakdown in negotiations, Iaquinta couldn’t agree on a contract and pulled out of the bout.

Alves tweeted this evening asking Iaquinta if he’d like to get the fight back on, this time at UFC 210, saying this:

Iaquinta responded, and agreed to the fight, on one condition.

Alves, who recently attempted a move down to 155lbs, but failed to make weight prior to his fight against Jim Miller at UFC 205, has seemingly decided to make the move back up to welterweight.

UFC 210 takes place live from the Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York on April 8th, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.
