A heavyweight contest between Dutchman Stefan Struve and Alexander Volkov is set to headline the UFC’s return to the Netherlands.

UFC officials announced the fight earlier today.

Struve (28-8) has been on great form lately, and has looked great in his past few performances. The heavyweight, who is the tallest in UFC history at 7″0, has gone 3-1 in his last four, and is current riding a two fight win streak. Following a win over Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Struve lost to Jared Rosholt before defeating Antonio Silva and Daniel Omielanczuk respectively.

Volkov (28-6) is undefeated in the UFC, and has won his last four consecutive fights. Following two stoppage victories over Denis Smoldarev and Attila Vegh, the Russian was called up to fight in the UFC, and debuted at UFC Belfast, walking away with a split decision win over Timothy Johnson. In his second octagon outing, “Drago” defeated Roy Nelson by decision, Nelson was later let go by the promotion.

UFC Rotterdam takes place live from the Ahoy Rotterdam Arena in Rotterdam, Netherlands on September 2, 2017. No other fights have been announced for the card at this time.
