The scheduled welterweight bout between Sheldon Westcott and Alex Morono, which was set to take place at UFC Fight Night 104, is off after Westcott pulled out of the bout with an injury; the UFC are seeking a replacement for Morono.

MMAJunkie confirmed the news with UFC Officials earlier today.

Morono (13-3 MMA, 2-0 UFC) debuted in the UFC with an impressive split decision victory over Kyle Noke at UFC 195. Morono was then scheduled to face James Moontasri at UFC Fight Night 97, but the event was cancelled. The bout between Morono and Moontasri was, however, rescheduled for a later date, and took place at UFC on FOX 22; Morono won the bout via decision.

UFC Fight Night 104 takes place live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on February 4th, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a featherweight bout between Dennis Bermudez and Chan Sung Jung.
