A featherweight encounter between Shane Burgos and Charles Rosa has been added to UFC 210, which takes place in Buffalo.

The UFC announced the news on Friday evening.

Burgos (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) fought the majority of his pre-UFC fights on CFFC cards, but has made an appearance on well known promotion Ring of Combat. He was signed to the UFC in 2016, and faced a much more experienced opponent in his debut. Burgos came up against Tiago Trator, who had fought 26-times. Compare that to Burgos’ then seven fights, and it’s a massive difference. Experience gap aside, Burgos won the fight via decision at UFC Fight Night 102.

Rosa (11-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) came into the UFC regarded as a hot prospect with nine straight wins, but his UFC tenure hasn’t exactly gone to plan thus far. The Boston native debuted against MMA veteran Dennis Siver, but lost the bout via decision at UFC Fight Night 53. In his second bout, he rebounded with a third round submission victory over Sean Soriano. He then suffered his second loss, barely losing on points to Yair Rodriguez. In his most recent outing, “Boston Strong” took a decision victory over Kyle Bochniak at UFC Boston.

UFC 210 takes place live from the Keybank Center in Buffalo, New York on April 8, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a light heavyweight championship fight between Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.
