Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey was dethroned in November of 2015, and many were unsure whether she would ever return. The mood was mainly excitement and joy when it was announced she would return to face Amanda Nunes in a title bout at UFC 207.

Rousey did next to no media leading up to the fight, so numerous questions loomed over the fight. What is her chin like? How is she mentally? Has she improved her striking? Will she look any different?

Them questions were answered, sort of… We got to see less than one minute of Ronda fighting, as she was stopped by the heavy hitting Brazilian. Journalists, fans, UFC employees all had an opinion whether it was the last time we’d see her, and most of them said it was.

Rousey has been quiet since the fight, similar to how she was following her first defeat at UFC 193. The former Olympian has been a little more active on social media, but is not giving much away. Since the fight, which took place on Dec. 30, 2016, Rousey hasn’t made the news for something she has done. Until now!

Rousey has caused quite a stir in the last 24-hours, with MMA fans confused with her latest Instagram post.

Now, if you don’t understand this, let me make it a little bit easier for you. In other words, the quote says, A ship which is tied up, sitting in a harbour, doing nothing is safe, but that’s not what ships are for.

We may be looking way too far into this, as we tend to do in MMA, but what else could this quote mean? Maybe it doesn’t mean anything, and she’s just posting it for the fun of it or to get some hopes up? Maybe she’s hinting at something else, perhaps moving forward in her acting career?

At this point, Ronda Rousey is the only person who knows the answer to that, but let’s hope we find out soon enough.
