Former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos has a date, event, and opponent for his welterweight debut. The Brazilian will face Tarec Saffiedine at UFC Singapore in July.

Channel News Asia announced the booking earlier today.

Dos Anjos (25-9) went 12-5 in the lightweight division before fighting for a title; he came off three straight wins over Jason High, Benson Henderson, and Nate Diaz before fighting for the title. RDA dethroned dangerous striker Anthony Pettis before stopping Donald Cerrone in 66-seconds. He lost the title to Eddie Alvarez via first round stoppage before being defeated by Tony Ferguson in the main event of UFC Mexico City.

Saffiedine (16-6) was a pivotal figure in the Strikeforce organisation, winning their belt before transitioning over to the UFC. Since the move, the Belgian has put together a record of 2-3. In his promotional debut, he brutalised Hyun Gyu Lim in the main event of UFC Singapore, that was before a loss to Rory MacDonald halted him. He rebounded with a decision win over Jake Ellenberger but has lost his last two to Rick Story and Dong Hyun Kim.

UFC Fight Night 111 takes place live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, on June 17.
