A light heavyweight fight between Patrick Cummins and Jan Blachowicz has been made official for UFC 210.

The UFC announced the fight on Friday evening

Cummins (8-4 MMA, 4-4 UFC) made his UFC debut on short notice against the now UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier; Rough, eh? He lost that bout via TKO in the first round, but then defeated Roger Narvaez, Kyle Kingsbury and Antonio Carlos Junior respectively. Cummins then faced Ovince Saint Preux, but was stopped in the first round. He returned, and defeated Rafael Cavalcante before losing two straight to Glover Teixeira and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Blachowicz (19-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC) is the former KSW Light Heavyweight Champion, and defender the belt twice. His UFC debut came against Ilir Latifi, and he won the bout in under two minutes before facing Jimi Manuwa in his home country of Poland. Blachowicz lost the bout via decision before dropping a second straight loss, this time to Corey Anderson. “The Prince of Cieszyn” then faced Igor Pokrajac at UFC Zagreb, and won the bout via decision. In his most recent outing, Blachowicz lost a decision to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC Hamburg.
