A welterweight bout between Mike Perry and Thiago Alves is set to take place at UFC 215, which happens in Seattle.

MMAFighting.com first reported the news.

Perry (10-1) has made a lot of noise in the UFC since making his debut in August of 2016. “Platinum” earned two straight stoppage wins over Hyun Gyu Lim and Danny Roberts before losing a decision to Alan Jouban. He rebounded by stopping Jake Ellenberger at UFC Nashville.

Alves (22-11) has been signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship since 2005. He made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 2. During his tenure, he has faced names such as Jon Fitch, Matt Hughes, Georges St Pierre, and Carlos Condit. “Pitbull” is coming off a decision win over Patrick Cote at UFC 210.

UFC 215 takes place live from Seattle on August 19. No other bouts have been announced for the card as of yet.
