Long time UFC play by play commentator Mike Goldberg’s UFC career is set to come to an end after UFC 207. The event will not only be his last, but the last of the year for the promotion.

The news was broken by EntimSports earlier today.

Goldberg, and his commentary partner Joe Rogan have become recognised as some of the most famous voices in combat sports, and it will no doubt be a noticeable change.

Goldberg is well known for his signature lines, such as “Here we go!”, or “It is all over!”, but has also become accustomed to a lot of negative comments due to many mistakes. One of the more recent ones was accidentally calling Michelle Waterson “Waterman” following her victory over Paige VanZant.

There has been no official announcement by the UFC yet that Goldberg is set to leave, so although it can’t be 100% confirmed, it is very likely. No comment has been made by the promotion yet on who could replace Goldberg, but the most likely to be next in line seems to be Jim Rome.
