A light-heavyweight bout involving Luis Henrique da Silva and Joachim Christensen has been added to UFC Fight Night 96, which takes place in Portland, Oregon.

Luis Henrique da Silva (11-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) was 10-0 coming into the UFC and had only left the first round twice. The Brazilian made his UFC debut at UFC 199, facing Jonathan Wilson. The fight did go into the second round, but da Silva managed to stop Wilson at the 4:11 mark.

Christensen (13-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has made a name for himself in his hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark by winning 5 straight fights, finally earning a spot in the UFC. Although this is Christensen’s debut, at 13-3 he is slightly more experienced than his opponent. Currently one of two Danish UFC fighters, Christensen will be looking to put himself and his country on the map at UFC Fight Night 96.

The “Rose City” is in for a treat on October 1, as the octagon touches down for the second time in Oregon.
