Former flyweight title challenger Joseph Benavidez has been forced to pull out of his scheduled UFC Fight Night 110 bout vs. Ben Nguyen.

The TAM product announced the fight on social media.

After this initial tweet, Benavidez revealed he had suffered a torn ACL. The 32-year-old is currently riding a six fight win streak, and has only ever lost to one man in the UFC, that man being Demetrious Johnson. His UFC record is 12-2.

Nguyen was looking to win his second straight fight, following a victory over Geane Herrera. Prior to that win, “Ben 10” was stopped by Louis Smolka. Nguyen was riding a nine fight win streak before the Smolka loss, and had finished seven of those wins.

UFC Fight Night 110 takes place live from the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, on June 11. The card is set to be headlined by a heavyweight fight between Derrick Lewis and Mark Hunt.
