A lightweight rematch between Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller has been added to UFC Vancouver.

The UFC announced the news over Twitter.

Lauzon (26-1 MMA, 13-8 UFC) first clashed with Jim Miller at UFC 155, but lost the bout via unanimous decision following a bloody three round war which earned both men Fight of the Night honours. Lauzon was out after the bout for 8 months before returning and losing a decision to Michael Johnson. Lauzon snapped the two fight skid by putting together two wins, taking home a decision against Mac Danzig before stopping Michal Chiesa in the second round. Lauzon then faced Al Iaquinta at UFC 183, but lost via second round TKO. “J-Lau” fought twice more in 2015, defeating Takanori Gomi before losing to Evan Dunham. In his most recent outing, Lauzon became the first man to stop Diego Sanchez with strikes at UFC 200.

Miller (26-8, 1NC, MMA, 15-7, 1NC, UFC) returned at UFC 159 after the epic war against Lauzon, but after losing to Pat Healy, the result was changed to a No Contest as Healy tested positive for Marijuana. Miller then came up against Fabricio Camoes, and won the fight via armbar in the first round before choking Yancy Medeiros unconscious at UFC 172. Miller then headlined an event in New Jersey against Donald Cerrone, but was knocked out in the second round. Following the loss, Miller faced Beneil Dariush but lost the fight via decision. Miller rebounded from the two losses with a split decision victory over Danny Castillo. After the fight against Castillo, Miller once again went on a two fight skid, losing to Michael Chiesa and Diego Sanchez. In his most recent bout, Miller became the first man to fight on both UFC 100 and UFC 200, as he finished Takanori Gomi in the first round.

UFC Vancouver takes place live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on August 27. No main event has been set for this event yet, but the card features a featherweight bout between Anthony Pettis and Charles Oliveira, and a Women’s Strawweight bout between Paige VanZant and Bec Rawlings.
