Featherweight Cindy Dandois has signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but will make her promotional debut at bantamweight.

The signing, and an opponent for her debut, was announced on Wednesday evening. It is unclear whether Dandois will continue to fight at bantamweight after this fight, or whether it’s just because there is no opponents to face her at featherweight.

Dandois (8-2) went 4-0 in her first four bouts, picking up two stoppages along the way. Following her first loss, rebounded with a win, before not competing for three years. She returned in 2014, but was stopped by Tonya Evinger. Since the loss, Dandois has picked up three straight wins, all by submission; most recently, she forced Anjela Pink to tap to strikes just 13-seconds into their bout.

Her opponent will be a Women’s MMA veteran of over 20-fights. A BJJ black belt and former title challenger, Alexis Davis will be Dandois’ opponent in her octagon debut. Davis (17-7) is one of the most well known Women’s MMA fighters, and has fought just about everybody you could think of. Some of Davis’ notable wins have came against names such as Jessica Eye, Liz Carmouche, and Sarah Kaufman.

UFC Fight Night 108 takes place live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 22. The card is set to be headlined by a featherweight contest between Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov.
