UFC Heavyweight Stefan Struve has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Junior dos Santos due to a shoulder injury.

MMAFighting.com confirmed the news earlier today following an initial report from Brazilian outlet Combate.

Struve (28-8) was looking to get redemption against JDS, who knocked the Dutchman out in just 54-seconds at UFC 95 in London. The 7ft Struve is currently riding a two fight win streak with two stoppages. “Skyscraper” was on a two fight skid and likely fighting for his UFC career when he faced Antonio Silva at UFC Rotterdam, but a 16-second stoppage reignited his passion and desire to compete. In his most recent outing, Struve faced Daniel Omielanczuk at UFC 204 in Manchester, and won the bout via d’arce choke in the second round.

Dos Santos does not have an opponent at this time, but the UFC are actively seeking a new match-up.
