Former UFC Lightweight Contender Clay Guida made the move to 145lbs in January of 2013, but now he will return to the lightweight division to face Erik Koch at UFC Fight Night 112.

The bout was announced on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight.

Guida (32-17 MMA, 12-11 UFC) has amassed a record of 3-4 in the UFC’s featherweight division. For the first six fights in the division, Guida maintained a perfect win/loss pattern, but after his loss to Thiago Tavares at UFC Sao Paulo, he was due a win; one that he did not get. In his most recent outing, the TAM fighter was stopped by Brian Ortega in the third round.

Koch (15-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) will be hoping to cement his place in the lightweight division. Injuries have majorly hindered his activity and progress since joining the UFC. The Roufus Sport fighter went 2-2 in his first four, having a two fight win streak snapped with two straight losses. Since that time, “New Breed” has gone 2-1, and is coming off a submission win over Shane Campbell.

UFC Fight Night 112 takes place live from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 25. In the main event, BJ Penn faces Dennis Siver.
