UFC on FOX 20 has another bout, and this time it’s one between bantamweights Eddie Wineland and Frankie Saenz. The UFC have not formally announced the news yet but Eddie Wineland confirmed the bout on Twitter following an initial report in the Chicago Tribune’s RedEye.

Wineland (21-11-1 MMA, 3-5 UFC) rebounded from his title loss against Renan Barao at UFC 165 by stopping Yves Jabouin, before suffering the most devastating loss of his career at the hands of Johnny Eduardo. Eduardo knocked Wineland out in the first round with Wineland suffering a broken jaw. Wineland was out with the injury for 14-months before returning and suffering another defeat, this time at the hands of Bryan Caraway. Wineland looked tentative in the fight and lost a decision.

Saenz (11-3 MMA, 3-1 UFC) took home three decision wins in his first three UFC outings, firstly over Nolan Ticman at UFC Fight Night 47, secondly over Iuri Alcantara at UFC Fight Night 61 and finally over Sirwan Kakai at UFC Fight Night 73. Most recently, Saenz come up against the biggest test of his career in MMA veteran Urijah Faber. Faber and Saenz fought for three rounds at UFC 194 with Faber eventually walking away with a decision victory.

UFC on FOX 20 takes place live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on July 23, 2016. The card is expected to be headlined by a women’s bantamweight match-up between Holly Holm and Valentina Shevchenko.
