“The Korean Superboy” is set to return to the cage following his Fight of the Year candidate against Cub Swanson last year, as he will face Andre Fili at UFC 214.

The promotion announced the bout.

Choi (14-2) was unbeaten in twelve straight bouts prior to the loss to Swanson last December, picking up three UFC wins. After a stoppage victory over Juan Puig at UFC Austin in 2014, the 26-year-old walked through Sam Sicilia in just 1:33. In his third UFC bout, Choi finished Thiago Tavares in just over two minutes.

Fili (16-4) had a lot of hype behind him coming into the UFC, but his tenure thus far hasn’t gone completely to plan. Following a stoppage win at UFC 166 over Jeremy Larsen, Fili lost to Max Holloway, before defeating Felipe Arantes. In his next bout, the TAM product was submitted by Godofredey Pepey. Rebounding with a win, “Touchy” stopped Gabriel Benitez before ending up on the wrong end of a highlight reel KO from Yair Rodriguez. In his most recent outing, Fili defeated Hacran Dias.

UFC 214 takes place live from the Honda Center in Aneheim, California on Saturday, July 29. A light heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones is rumored to be headlining the card.
