UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson is set to make the ninth defence of his title at UFC 201 when he faces Wilson Reis, who is coming off a victory over Dustin Ortiz.

The news was announced on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight.

Johnson (24-2-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC) started his domination of the flyweight division following a draw with Ian McCall. “Mighty Mouse” defeated McCall in a rematch before winning the inaugural flyweight champion with a victory over Joseph Benavidez. Since then, Johnson has picked up eight victories, all title defences, with five finishes. The American has been untouched in almost all of his outing and is getting better every time he performs. In his most recent bout, Johnson overwhelmed Olymian Henry Cejudo before picking up a TKO victory in the first round.

Reis (20-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC) debuted in the UFC with a tonne of hype behind him, and took home a decision over Ivan Menjivar at UFC 165. In his second outing, Reis dropped a split decision to Iuri Alcantara. Following the loss, Reis picked up a decision victory over Joby Sanchez before submitting Scott Jorgensen. Reis only fought once in 2015, and lost the bout by decision against Jussier Formiga. In his most recent outing, Reis took home a decision victory over Dustin Ortiz.

UFC 201 takes place live from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 30, 2016. The card is set to be headlined by a welterweight championship bout between Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley.
