EFC Featherweight Champion Danny Henry has signed with the UFC, and will debut at UFC Fight Night 113 in Glasgow.

The news emerged on Twitter.

Henry (10-2) competed on the Scottish regional scene before fighting for EFC, he went 4-1, before winning his first three EFC fights, capturing the featherweight belt. In his first defence of the title, Henry lost his throne, after losing via Unanimous Decision to Igeu Kabesa. He rebounded with two straight stoppage wins before facing Kabesa in a rematch, and submitting him in the first round.

The Scottish fighter will face Daniel Teymur (6-0), who will also be making his UFC debut. The Swede has amassed six straight wins, earning three submission wins and three TKO wins.

UFC Fight Night 113 takes place live from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on Sunday, July 16. The card is headlined by a Welterweight bout between Gunnar Nelson and Santiago Ponzinibbio.
