Originally scheduled to fight at the next Cage Warriors Wales show, CWFC middleweight champion, Jack Marshman, has a new assignment. In the UFC.
News broke this morning that Marshman (20-5) has followed in the recent footsteps of Cage Warriors alumni, Darren Stewart, and made the move to the big show.
No details are currently available regarding when his first UFC bout might take place, but to see him on the Belfast card next month wouldn’t be a surprise.
CWFC 79 will still take place on Saturday, October 15 in Newport, Wales. The card will now be headlined by Martin Svensson (14-6) vs. Scott Clist (11-2) in a lightweight bout. Final details on the remainder of the card will be announced later this week by the CWFC press office.
