The featherweight contest between Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov was announced a while ago as the main event of UFC Nashville, but there was confusion galore late Sunday night when a report came out suggesting that a welterweight contest between Demian Maia and Jorge Masvidal would headline the card.
Swanson took to Twitter to voice his anger, initially saying this:
I signed a contract to fight Artem at #UFCNashville in a 5×5 Main Event. I have reached out to the UFC about this and they have not answered

Confusion, anger, unhappiness and many more emotions were shown by fans, before Swanson cleared things up, and confirmed he was the main event after all.
I just got confirmation that I am still the Main Event for #UFCNashville So Artem is still getting his 5 round ass whooping (or he quits)
