A welterweight bout between Charlie Ward and Galore Bofando is set to take place at UFC Fight Night 113, which takes place in Glasgow.

The news was revealed by Petesy Carroll Wednesday’s Irish Daily Mirror.

Ward (3-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) was signed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship with a record of just 3-1. The SBG Ireland fighter faced heavy criticism, with many believing he had only been signed because of his relationship with Conor McGregor. Ward debuted at UFC Belfast in November of 2016, but was stopped by Abdul Razak Alhassan in under one minute.

Bofando (4-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will likely be surprised by his UFC call-up, only having six professional fights on his record. The Englishman is a veteran of UK based show UCMMA, having competed there in all of his professional outings. That being said, Bofando hasn’t fought since February of 2015, where he defeated Kes Mamba via first round stoppage at UCMMA 42.

UFC Fight Night 113 takes place live from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on July 16, 2017.
