The first massive moment of the night, and boy was it massive. The right hand, that was. Alex Garcia brought it right from his hip, and his fist connected right on the end of Mike Pyle’s chin.

The first round started just as we thought it would, with Garcia winging violent, dangerous bombs. For the most part, he was missing, but following a loud kick to the body, the 29-year-old was able to get the fight down to the ground.

Pyle stayed calm and didn’t let Garcia do much from top position, but it was when they stood up the danger started. A few more missed shots by Garcia before Pyle came in, looking for a leg kick, and Garcia read, and countered it, planting a dynamite right hand on Pyle’s chin.

Pyle was out upon contact, and his lifeless body crashed to the canvas, with his head bouncing off the mat more than once.

Garcia improves to to 14-3 while Pyle’s record now stands at 27-13-1.
