Report by Mark Wincott

February 4, 2017 and we’re back in the East End of London to visit UCMMA. It’s their 50th card and tonight there are grudges to be sorted, late replacements to be made and stars of the future to be found.

One issue from tonight: the Paul Webster vs. Ben Earl grudge match, which had people in the Troxy excited, sadly didn’t happen. Ben Earl left the venue causing Paul Webster to vent his frustration and anger, saying he may not put those gloves on again. Dave O’Donnell has banned Earl from fighting under his banner for life.

An exciting prospect fighting out of London Shootfighters, Jack Andrews, had the followers singing his name from the rafters – definitely one to keep an eye on.

Mr MVP, Michael Venom Page made an appearance, asked by Mr Cage Rage whether the fight with Paul Daley has been signed (results inconclusive at this point).

And two big names in UKMMA turned it on for the UCMMA K1 super title, as Englishman Terry Brazier and Welshman David Round threw down in one of the bouts of the evening that ended in a controversial decision.

Tonight was eventful, but it was a pleasure to come along to this show and witness talent in the UCMMA cage.
