TUF veteran Peggy Morgan has today announced her retirement from mixed martial arts. She appeared in the UFC once.
Morgan announced the news on her Twitter account in a string of tweets, saying this.
People keep asking about my next fight so I guess it’s time to announce this: I decided after my last fight that I was ready to be done.

I’m happy I did it and grateful for the experiences I had. I’m ready to move on to the next phase of my life, though.

Morgan (4-4) debuted in June of 2012 with a decision victory over Kaline Medeiros at Reality Fighting: Mohegan Sun before picking up her second straight win, this time in March of 2013 against Revelina Berto. She then competed on TUF 18, but when given the chance to compete in the UFC, lost via decision to Jessamyn Duke. Her next fight came at Invicta FC 8, where she was finished for the first time, tapping to a rear naked choke from Irene Aldana. Morgan got back to winning ways at Invicta FC 10 with a decision victory over Andria Wawro. She then faced Latoya Walker at Invicta FC 10, but lost the bout via decision. Rebounding from her third loss, Morgan faced Jessy Miele at CES 30, and won the bout via decision. In her most recent outing, Morgan was stopped by Megan Anderson in the first round of their bout at Invicta FC 18.
