Hot on the heels of his triumphant return to the cage at FCC 17 in September, rising prospect Sam Spencer (4-0) already has a new assignment. In Cage Warriors veteran, Kris Edwards (8-9), Spencer faces arguably his toughest test to date.

Despite initially amassing a professional record of 8-3, Edwards’ career has since hit the skids, going 0-6 in subsequent outings. In that time, Edwards has faced some of the best UK MMA has to offer, going up against the likes of James Pennington, Sam Creasey and BAMMA champion, Alan Philpott. With five of those six fights going to a decision, and two splitting the judges’ opinion, Edwards is not to be taken lightly.

DeVent and Round set to rematch at Tanko 2

Spencer picked up where he left off at FCC 17, making it a winning return to the cage following a lay-off due to injury. With the end officially coming via a hand injury to his opponent, Ionut Raducanu, Spencer will be keen to get back in there and put on another show.

Surely there’s an easier way to make a living, Sam?
