Two bouts have been added to BAMMA 28, with the first being a Lonsdale Lightweight Title fight and the second being a middleweight scrap.

Rhys McKee will attempt to defend his newly won title for the first time, as the red hot prospect faces Myles Price at the event. Also, John Redmond will look to rebound from a :34 second submission loss as he faces Pelu Adetola.

The fights were announced by BAMMA on social media.

Mckee (5-0) is one of the hottest prospects in the UK at the moment, and has not failed to disappoint fans in his first five professional fights. In his most recent bout. McKee put Jai Herbert unconscious in the first round of their bout at BAMMA 72, capturing the vacant Lonsdale Lightweight Championship.

Price (9-6) is coming off one of the biggest wins of his career, where he stopped Mario Saeed in the first round of their fight, which was highly anticipated following fiery clashes between the two beforehand.

In the middleweight bout, Redmond (7-12) will be desperate to get back into the win column. The Irishman’s last bout was at Cage Warriors: Unplugged, but Redmond was submitted by Leeroy Barnes in just 34-seconds. The loss snapped a two fight win streak for Redmond.

Adetola (3-5) will also be desperate to pick up a win, as “The Nigerian Diamond” has lost three in a row. Most recently, Adetola lost a decision to up and coming Irish prospect, who fights out of SBG, Ben Forsyth.

BAMMA 28 takes place live from the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on February 24, 2017. The card is set to be headlined by a pivotal lightweight showdown between UFC veteran’s Paul Redmond and Norman Parke.
