After over one year out of the cage, Englishman Regis Sugden is set to return to the cage when he faces Declan Williams at Tanko FC 4 in May.

The promotion announced the news, along with one other fight, on Facebook.

Williams (11-11-3) is looking to get back to winning ways, and get his hand raised for the first time since June of 2015. This may not seem like a while, but since that time, the Englishman has fought four times, losing three of them, with the other ending in a no contest. In his most recent outing, Williams was submitted by Call Ellenor at ACB 54.

Sugden (3-1) was billed as one of the hottest prospects in the UK prior to his fight with Alan Philpott at BAMMA 22. Stoppage victories over Paul Bentley, Manuel Bilic and Anthony Phillips earned him a big name fight against Philpott, but Sugden was on the wrong end of an extremely close split decision. Since that fight, which took place at BAMMA 22 in September of 2015, Sugden has been away from the cage, and we have heard little from him.

Tanko FC 4 takes place live from the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England on May 12, 2017.
