Cage Warriors have today announced that their current featherweight champ, Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett (13-1) will defend his belt against previous title challenger, Nad Narimani (9-2).

The showdown will take place at CW82, scheduled for April 1 at the Echo Arena, Liverpool. It will be a return to competing in his home town for Pimblett – where he claimed the featherweight gold last September against Johnny Frachey. He has since successfully defended his title, taking TUF finalist, Julian Erosa to the scorecards at Cage Warriors Unplugged in November.

No doubt Narimani will have his eyes on the prize, having come within a whisker of taking home the belt against the previous featherweight, Alex Enlund.

According to the press release, Pimblett comments:

“This is my city, my arena and my title. Expect another huge party – and another huge win – when I come back home to defend my belt.”

The Sprawl was in attendance at CW78, and can indeed confirm that the lad likes to party.

Tickets for CW82 are onsale now, starting at £25.
