After a lengthy, and successful amateur career, Middleweight Jenaid Ebanks turned pro, and won his debut bout. Now, the Englishman faces Tomasz Gujski at Tanko FC 4 in May.

The promotion announced the news on Facebook.

Ebanks (1-0) went 9-0 as an amateur, and captured multiple titles in doing so. In his professional debut, he faced hard nosed veteran Marcin Prostko at ACB 54. Ebanks dropped Prostko with a flying knee, before eventually choking the Pole unconscious, earning a second round win.

Gujski (0-1) is massively less experienced that his opponent, having only had one amateur and one professional bout. In his lone amateur contest, the Pole defeated James Benn in the first round of their bout at ICE FC 9. One year and four months later, and he made his professional debut, but was stopped by Kevin Fryer in under a minute at Budo FC 13.

Tanko FC 4 takes place live from the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England on Friday, May 12, 2017.
