When Cage Warriors return next Saturday, they’re bringing two of the promotion’s biggest stars to the BT Sport studio in Stratford. Champions Paddy Pimblett and Chris Fishgold have been capturing the headlines since their triumphant outing at CWFC 78 in at the Echo Arena, Liverpool in September, and both men will be putting their respective belts on the line at the weekend.

Contesting the featherweight title will be Julian Erosa (19-3), TUF 22 and King of the Cage veteran. The Sprawl caught up with Erosa in advance of the American’s CWFC debut against promotional poster boy Paddy Pimblett.

“It’s just another fight”, insisted Erosa, who is adamant fighting outside of the USA for the first time won’t make a difference.

Full of praise for Pimblett, the 27-year-old said “I haven’t watched many of his fights, but I do know he’s an all around good fighter.”

For friends and fans that know Erosa, they know he isn’t going to say no to any fight, and the Washington native was eager to point that out, “My coach got the offer, contacted me, and I said yes.” If only everything was done that easily.

Whilst emphasising he’s not looking past “The Baddy”, Erosa does plan to either defend the belt on Cage Warriors’ return to Liverpool, or sign with the UFC for the second time, “I’ll either defend the belt in April, or sign a contract with the UFC.”

Julian Erosa is set to face Patrick Pimblett at Cage Warriors Unplugged on Saturday, November 12 at the BT Sport Studio in Stratford. The event will be broadcast live on BT Sport and UFC Fight Pass. Tickets for this event are NOT available.
