IFS Northern Ireland fighter Daniel “Obi Wan” Olejniczak exploded onto the BAMMA scene at BAMMA 28 with a TKO finish of Jonathan Reid in the first round of their bout in Belfast. Olejniczak has now signed a multi fight deal with the promotion and is excited to be continuing his professional career with the promotion.

Following the announcement that Daniel had signed with BAMMA, he offered a few words to The Sprawl.

“I am really grateful that I got the chance to fight under the BAMMA banner, my dream has become reality.” He exclaimed. “I would like to thank BAMMA for giving me this great opportunity and my head coach Paul McLaughlin too. I hope to fight as often as I can this year and put myself out there in the welterweight division.” Revealed the Pole. “Names mean nothing to me. In my debut at BAMMA 28, I had three fighters pull out on me. I am not a matchmaker, I am a fighter and I will bring a fight every time”

Although he has no date, event, or opponent lined up yet, ‘Obi Wan’ insists he will be ready when BAMMA need him. “I’m ready to go now; But, it will likely be on the Dublin card on the 7th of July, this will leave me with even more time to improve”

Daniel holds a professional Mixed Martial Arts record of 1-0, with that win coming in the aforementioned bout against Jonathan Reid. As an amateur, the 170lb sensation tore through the scene, with nine straight wins.
