A bantamweight bout between Damo Weeden and Cameron Else has been added to Cage Warriors 85.
Jimmy Johnstone announced the news over social media.
Weeden (6-7) is a three time Cage Warriors veteran, and has gone 1-2 with the promotion. In his most recent outing, “Yeti” was submitted by Kris Edwards in the second round of their bout at Cage Warriors 83. Prior to the loss, the Englishman was undefeated in his past four fights.
Else (4-3) is coming off one of the biggest wins of his career. “Killacam” ran through Dylan Tuke in 20-seconds last time out at Bellator 169. Prior to that, the Englishman was stopped by Ed Arthur in the first round of their bout at BAMMA 25. Else holds a win over Cage Warriors star Paddy Pimblett.
Cage Warriors 85 takes place live from the O2 Academy in Bournemouth, England, on Saturday, June 24. The card is set to be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Jason Radcliffe and Oskar Piechota.
